Spend even a few hours with these ladies and you quickly see that their joy is a choice. That their joy is a byproduct of a steady, intense, unquestioning, fierce loyalty to each other and to nurturing a collective life that is intentional and honest and good. To view nearly everything through a lens of growth and change and faith. It's not shallow, it's not unknowing; it's not naïve, and it's not oblivious. It's deep joy...true joy...the choosing of joy...the kind of joy that never leaves you and never runs out. It's a wellspring.
